Two workers were killed after an air conditioner exploded in a bank in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Tuhin, 22 and Rafi, 24.
Abdul Bari, officer-in-charge of Sonargaon police station, said the explosion occurred around 2pm with a big bang when they were repairing the air conditioner at Eastern Bank, leaving the two workers injured.
Later, they were taken to Narayanganj General Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
