Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has called for creating scopes for the youths in information technology and science to take Bangladesh forward.
“They will not only have jobs, but will also become entrepreneurs to create opportunities for others,” she said on Wednesday.
The minister was addressing the orientation and inaugural function of Blended Learning Solution organized by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University in Gazipur as chief guest.
Saying that the new education curricula will be launched from next year, she said initiation of educational activities in the new curricula is a big challenge.
"We have to take courageous steps to face all the challenges
She hoped that the young will able to turn Bangladesh into 'Sonar Bangla' as dreamt by Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The minister said that the defeated forces of the 1971 war and the perpetrators of the 2004 grenade attack and the violent forces of 2014 are once again surfacing.
“They are threatening another 1975 (the assassination of Bangabandhu). That threat cannot be the language of politics, it is the language of terrorists and murderers,” she added.
She said that they were also trying to destabilize the educational environment in the country.
