Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has said this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on August 17 according to the prior schedule.
“The HSC exam schedule will not change,” she said while briefing reporters after a national monitoring and disciplinary committee meeting at the International Mother Language Institute on Tuesday afternoon.
HSC examinations will be held on full marks in all subjects except ICT in the revised syllabus.
The education minister said the Information and Communication Technology test will be held on 75 marks.
Coaching centres across the country will remain closed from August 14 to September 25, the minister added.
The exams will end on September 25.
