Khandker Mosharraf: Follow PM Hasina’s call to repel BNP attacks

Awami League Presidium member Khandker Mosharraf Hossain on Tuesday said that the party men must follow Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's instruction to break down the hands of BNP activists who would come to attack.

He made the remark while inaugurating the triennial council of Cox's Bazar district unit of Awami League at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium.

The Awami League leader commented that Bangabandhu's historic speech on March 7 was a clear declaration of independence.

Since then Bengalis have united and participated in the liberation war. Freedom fighters are dying one by one. But Bangladesh exists and will remain, he said.

This Bangladesh of development has stood in the world with pride under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. This has been possible under the capable leadership of Sheikh Hasina alone, said the AL leader.

He commented that there is no alternative to Sheikh Hasina for the country's development and peace.

Cox's Bazar District Awami League Acting President Advocate Faridul Islam Chowdhury is presiding over the conference.

General Secretary Obaidul Quader is likely to attend the council virtually.

Central committee leader Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Sirajul Mostafa, Aminul Islam Amin, Barrister Biplab Barua, and others were present as guests.

Thousands of leaders and workers have already come to the conference. The procession of party men continues to come.
