A head-on collision between a bus and a covered van has claimed at least four lives and injured seven others in Bogra.
The incident took place in the district’s Shahjahanpur area around 3:40am on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Jamal Hossain, covered van driver Md Hridoy, Md Hossain, Shamim Hossain and Mosammat Jesmin.
The injured have been taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.

The OC and members of the fire service said the Dhaka-bound covered van collided head-on with the Naogaon-bound Shah Fateh Ali Paribahan bus when it reached a filling station.
The driver of the covered van, Md Hridoy, and Mosammat Jesmin died on the spot.
