The Saudi Arabian authorities have made it clear that the expatriates, who left the Kingdom on exit and reentry visa and did not come back before their visas expired, are not allowed to reenter to the country for three years.
However, this is not applicable to those who come back to the previous employer with a new work visa, according to the General Directorate of Passports, locally known as Jawazat, reports Saudi Gazette.
The Jawazat’s clarification came in response to queries from many foreigners who want to return to the country after leaving it years ago on exit and reentry visa and did not return before the expiry of their visas.
Over 2 million Bangladeshi expats work in Saudi Arabia, sending over $3.5 billion in remittances in 2019 alone.
