A man was tasered after he allegedly attacked people at the London mosque at Regent Park, reports The Independent.
The incident occurred around 1:20am on Wednesday, June 21. The UK police are not treating the incident as terror-related, the article confirms.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the man was waving "an item" in front of the mosque, upon which police arrived and took the man into custody at a central London police station.
The item in question was found out to be a shoe-horn.
There were no reports of any injuries and the police are not considering the matter as terrorism related.
