Royal Baby: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduce their first born to the world

The baby is the first child for both Meghan and Prince Harry

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared a first glimpse of their newborn son on Wednesday, reports BBC.

The Royal baby was introduced to the world during a session with the press at St George's Hall in Windsor Castle.

As her husband, Prince Harry held their two-day-old child-wrapped in a white shawl- Meghan said: "He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm.

The couple confirmed that they would introduce the Queen to her eighth and newest great-grandchild later on.

When Meghan was asked about their first few days as parents, she said: "It’s magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy.

Harry added: "It's great. Parenting is amazing.

Meghan further added: "Thank you, everybody, for all the well-wishes and kindness, it just means so much.

The royal baby was born early Monday morning and weighs 7lbs and 30z (3.26 kg).

The baby is the first child for both Meghan and Prince Harry will be seventh in line to the throne. He is Queen Elizabeth’s eighth great-grandchild.

On Monday morning, a statement was issued from Buckingham Palace saying that Meghan had gone into labour.
