Three Bangladeshi men were detained for possessing forged passports in Malaysia, police said.
They all were detained following a raid at a house in Taman Ampang Utama, The Star reported.
The suspects, aged between 36 and 46 years old, were arrested at 10:40pm on Saturday, Ampang Jaya OCPD Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Farouk Eshak said.
However, the report did not mention the names and details of the detainees.
"We also seized various equipment believed to be used to produce forged passports including 13 Bangladeshi passports and various fake documents including fake police reports, Farouk said.
"We also seized a notebook, three mobile phones as well as a printer and a computer," he added.
The suspects have been remanded until April 24, Farouk said.
"We will investigate further. We hope the public will continue to cooperate with the police in supplying information," he said.
