US President Donald Trump unveiled a sweeping set of new tariffs on imports from multiple countries, including Bangladesh, on Wednesday.
The measure, part of Trump's "Liberation Day" trade initiative, introduces a baseline 10% tariff on all imports, with higher rates targeting countries accused of protectionism, currency manipulation or imposing non-tariff barriers against US exports.
