Bangladesh Navy reigned supreme in the sixth edition of the Bangabandhu President Cup Fencing with highest 15 medals, including five golds and as many silvers and bronzes, as the sport resumed after a long hiatus due to the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Bangladesh Ansar and VDP finished as the runners up owing to their gold count, five as opposed to third placed Bangladesh Army’s two, following the final day of the six-team competition at Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium.
