Bangladesh Navy won the Victory Day Hockey Sunday at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium after thrashing Bangladesh Air Force 5-0 in the final.
Mahbub Hossain shone brightly with a hat-trick, while Ashraful Islam and Mainul Islam Koushik also found the net.
Navy, boasting several national team players, took the lead in the second quarter through a Mahbub field goal before he completed his treble by adding two more in the third quarter.
Ashraful and Mainul scored one each in the fourth and final quarter to add gloss to the scoreline.
