Bangladesh shooter Shakil Ahmed bagged silver medal yesterday in the air pistol event of the Polish Open Online Shooting.
After an intense battle against gold winner, Azerbaijan’s Lunev Ruslan, Shakil eventually finished second with a score of 240.1, against the top score of 241.7.
Commonwealth Games medallist Shakil came to this competition after winning silver in the Indonesia Open Online Shooting earlier this month.
After that, Shakil finished fourth in the Singapore Open Online Shooting.
Ever since the new adhoc committee took over the reigns of the Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation, the shooters have been involved in regular online competitions, with Robiul Islam and Abdullah Hel Baki bagging medals in the Singapore Open Online Shooting.
