Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party emerged as the champions in the men’s and women’s category in the 14th edition of the Shaheed Ahsanullah Master National Wushu Competition in Dhaka’s Shaheed Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium Saturday.
Army reigned supreme with seven gold, four silver and three bronze medals while Ansar finished at the top of the standing with eight golds and seven silvers.
Ansar and Army finished as the runners-up in the men’s and women’s event accordingly.
The State Minister for Youth and Sports Jahid Ahsan Russel was present during the occasion as the chief guest and later distributed prizes among the winners.
