Fatema Mujib earned Bangladesh's seventh gold medal at the 13th South Asian Games and first gold in fencing in Naya Bazar, Kiritipur, Kathmandu today.
Fatema’s gold came in the women’s sabre individual event.
Earlier, weightlifters Jiarul Islam clinched sixth gold for Bangladesh in the men’s 96kg weight category today. It was second gold in weightlifting discipline after Mabia Akter Shimanta won the first on the same day.
