Fullapati Chakma and Rajkumar Roy bagged a silver medal each on the opening day of weightlifting discipline at the SRKC hall of Pokhara in Nepal Thursday.
Fullapati won silver in the women’s 55kg weight category lifting a total of 148kg, including 63kg in snatch and 85kg in clean and jerk as Bindiyarani Devi bagged gold with a total lift of 171kg.
Rajkumar clinched silver in the men's 55kg category lifting a total of 184kg, including 80kg in snatch and 104kg in clean and jerk.

Sri Lankan weightlifter notched gold with 235kg.
Mostain Bella and Molla Shabira sealed bronze in the men’s 61kg and women's 49kg event respectively.
Mostain lifted a total of 235kg and Shabira 130kg.
