State Minister for Youth and Sports Jahid Ahsan Russel and the national men’s and women’s U-18 rugby team players Al Ferdous Jim and Tanima Biswas will represent Bangladesh in the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2019 Friday at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.
The Rugby World Cup will feature 20 teams.
This was revealed in a press conference Wednesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, organized by Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union.

BRFU president Mohammad Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, general secretary Mousum Ali and other officials were present during the presser.
On the occasion of the Rugby World Cup, Bangladesh U-15 team will take part in the 2nd Asia Rugby Fest.
A total of 12 teams will partake in the fest and Bangladesh will depart for Japan Tuesday before returning home on October 3.
