BKSP Shooting Club emerged as the champion in the 24th Inter-Club Shooting Competition while Army Shooting Association finished as runners-up as the four-day event concluded at National Shooting Complex in Gulshan Wednesday.
BKSP’s total score of 990 was 34 more than Army.
Nayeem al Araf and Nusrat Jahan Shakmsi of BKSP won gold medal in the .22 Rifle Open Sight and .177 Air Rifle Open Sight respectively, while Army’s Mohammad Nasir Uddin Fahim claimed gold in men’s .177 Air Pistol.
Ali Hasan and Ashfia Khatun of Navy Shooting Club finished first in men’s .177 Air Rifle and women’s .177 Air Pistol events.
Bangladesh Olympic Association secretary general Syed Shahed Reza graced the concluding ceremony as the chief guest.
