Border Guard Bangladesh and Bangladesh Ansar emerged as the champions in the men’s and women’s category of the Independence Day Open Wrestling Competition, organised by Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation and sponsored by RDDL, at National Handball Stadium in Dhaka.
In the men’s event, BGB bagged six gold medals, one silver and three bronzes while Bangladesh Army finished runners-up with two golds and five bronzes.
In the women’s category, Ansar notched five golds, one silver and three bronzes while Army finished second with four golds and six silvers.
