Bangladesh’s Shamima Akter and Farzana exited the Aiba World Women’s Boxing Championship in the second and first round respectively in Delhi, India.
Shamima lost out to a Philippines opponent in the 54kg category while Farzana suffered a defeat against a Japan opponent in the 48kg category.
On the first day of the event, another Bangladeshi participant Anita Islam lost to a Kazakhstan opponent.
