Bangladesh began with a loss at the International Boxing Association’s World Women’s Championship in Delhi, India.
Anita Islam, contesting her first ever game in the international level, conceded a defeat in the 57kg category against a Kazakhstan opponent after three rounds.
Two other Bangladeshi participants, Shamima Akter and Farzana, will compete in the 54kg and 57kg categories respectively.
