Viqarunnisa Noon School & College, Scholastica, Sunnydale and Narinda Govt High School reached the final of the girls’ and boys’ events of Polar Icecream 25thSchool Handball Tournament 2018 after winning their respective semifinal at Shaheed M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Tuesday.
In the women’s section, Viqarunnisa outplayed Sunnydale by 10-2 in the first semifinal of the girls’ event while Scholastica defeated Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt. Anwar Girls College by 5-0 in the other last-four battle.
In the men’s event, Sunnydale thrashed Residential Model School & College by 17-07 in the first semifinal while Narinda defeated Shaheed Police Smrity College by 23-14 to secure a place in the final.
Meanwhile, the finals and the third-place deciding matches of both men’s and women’s section will be held at the same venue on Tuesday.
