Bangladesh senior men’s side clinched gold medal in the U-30 poom team event at the International Taekwondo Championship 2018 at Olympic Oval in Richmond, Vancouver, Canada Friday.
A total of 1,200 athletes, coaches and managers from 32 countries took part in the event where Bangladesh clinched gold.
Bangladesh contingent comprised Imtiaz Ibn Ali, Abdullah al Noman and Ashikur Rahman Hridoy (players), Sumon Dey (manager), FM Iqbal bin Anwar (team observer) and Mahmudul Islam Rana (coach and referee).
Bangladesh team will return home Tuesday.
