Army Association clinch Inter Club Shooting

The four-day long 23rd Inter Club Competition, organised by Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation and sponsored by Northern Tosrifa Group, concluded at Gulshan Shooting Complex in Dhaka Sunday. A total of 285 athletes, including 184 male and 101 female participants, from 46 rifle and shooting clubs took part in the tournament. The closing ceremony was held following the end of the tournament. Mohammad Jahid Ahsan Russel, Member of Parliament, distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest. BSSF president Nazimuddin Chowdhury presided over the closing ceremony.

Army Shooting Association emerged as the champion while Mainamati Shooting Club finished runners-up. Fazle Rabbi clinched the .177 air-rifle (30 shots) title while Mohammad Mahan claimed the .22 rifle crown. Saker Ahmed won the .177 air-pistol title while Krashila Marma bagged the .177 air-pistol event. Kazi Sajedul Hossain notched the .177 air-rifle category while Kamrun Nahar Koly took home the .177 air-rifle title.
