The 14-year old Rownok Chowdhury, son of former Bangladesh shooter Sabrina Sultana, attracted all the headlines Sunday when he clinched silver medal in the U-17 category of the air-pistol event at the Bangladesh Youth Games.
Rownok scored 262 points, eight behind gold winner Sheikh Shahjalal Sadman of Netrokona Rifles Club.
Shaker Ahmed of Chittagong Metropolitan Shooting Club scored 253 to finish third.
Sabrina rose to stardom when she won gold in the shooting event of the 1997 Commonwealth Shooting Championship.
Sabrina's husband, Saiful Alam Chowdhury is also a former shooter and two-time gold winner in the 1993 South Asian Federation Games, hosted by Dhaka.
