Shooters Abdullah hel Baki, Rabbi Hasan Mulla and Syeda Atkiya Hasan Disha and wrestler Shirin Sultana were felicitated Sunday by the Bangladesh Olympic Association for their medal-winning performances in the Islamic Solidarity Games, hosted by Azerbaijan last May.
Baki and Disha clinched gold medal in the mixed team event of the 10m air-rifle while Rabbi claimed silver in the 10m air-rifle event. Shirin, meanwhile, sealed bronze in the 69kg weight category.
The medalists were accorded a reception at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka where they received cheques.
Baki and Disha received Tk2,00,000, Rabbi Tk2,00,000 and Shirin Tk1,00,000.
