Bangladesh players trained at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium on Thursday, ahead of the 10th edition of the Asia Cup Hockey, slated for October this year in Dhaka.
Bangladesh started training on Wednesday and the camp will run till Eid-ul-Adha.
The eight-nation competition begins on October 12 and ends 11 days later.
Powerhouses South Korea, Japan, China and India will take part in the tournament.
Among the 40-member Bangladesh squad, 35 players joined the camp. Ashraful, Emon, Chayan, Sabbir and Rana are missing due to injury and German league commitment.
Prior to the tournament, Bangladesh will play practice matches in India and Malaysia.
