Bangladesh U-21 hockey girls concluded their maiden Women's Junior AHF Cup 2019 campaign with a 4-2 defeat against Chinese Taipei in their fifth group match in Singapore Sunday.
Bangladesh conceded an early goal in the fifth minute before Ferdous Juairiya equalized the margin in the 11th minute from a penalty corner. Chinese Taipei put three more before 31 minutes while Juairiya pulled another back in the 32nd minute from a penalty stroke.

Bangladesh began the campaign with 3-0 defeat against Singapore on September 9 before bagging their first ever international win over Sri Lanka by 2-0 following day. They lost to Hong Kong 1-0 and to Uzbekistan 6-0 on September 12 and 14 respectively.
The team is scheduled to return home on Monday.
