Afzalur Rahman Sinha, one of the directors and chairman of Abahani Limited’s hockey committee, was remembered by the central functioning body of Abahani Somorthok Goshti, the supporters’ organisation of the club Saturday.
The organisation held a remembrance meeting and Doa Mahfil at the club premises, informed a press release signed by Debabrata Dey Debu, the office secretary of the functioning body.
Directors, organisers and former players of the club attended the programme among others, said the press release.
