Bangladesh Air Force thrashed Bangladesh Police 13-0 as the Victory Day Hockey got underway at Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in Dhaka Tuesday.
Mainul Islam and Ashraful Islam netted a treble apiece while Deen Islam Emon and Fazle Hossain Rabbi bagged a brace each for the winning side.
Krishna Kumar, Russel Mahmud and Mamunur Rahman Chayan also scored one apiece for Bangladesh Air Force.
In the other game of the day at the same venue, Bangladesh Air Force edged Bangladesh Army 3-2 in the shootout after the normal time ended with the score locked at 4-4.
Prosenjit, Sifat (two) and Siraji netted for Bangladesh Air Force while Mohammad Milon Hossain, Mohammad Rokonuzzaman (two) and Pushkor Khisa scored for Bangladesh Army in regulation time.
