Bangladesh's premier motorsport driver Avik Anwar continued to reach new heights, and thus bringing more glory for the country, as he won the NGK Pro Car Championship in Dubai.
With a total of 310 points in the United Arab Emirates, Avik became the first Bangladeshi to claim an international motorsport championship.
Avik already had an 86-point lead heading into the sixth and last round so his second place finishes in the final two races had no affect on his championship win at Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina Formula 1 circuits.
The Bangladeshi motorsport driver has fond memories of this tournament as he also bagged first place in three consecutive races in 2021.
Avik went to the middle east on the back of a fourth place finish in the Volkswagen Polo Cup in India last month.
