Therap BD, Bando Design, Tech Republic, Anowara Group and ITHS won their respective matches on day four of the 3rd Mir Corporate Football Fiesta, powered by Sailor, on Wednesday.
In a close encounter Therap beat Aarong Dairy 2-1 before Bando Design convincingly defeated Sterling Group 5-0. The win brought more joy for Bando as their managing director and a passionate footballer Imranur Rahman, who scored four on the day, celebrated his 200th corporate league goal.
Later ITHS thrashed Accenture 9-0 courtesy of goals from Zubeyir, Enes, Yavuz and Yasin. Tech Republic handed Lanka Bangla a 4-2 defeat with Foyez and Shimon netting two goals each.
Imran of Bando is the leading goal scorer with 16 goals while Gemcon's Proshanto is at his tail with 12 goals.
The quarterfinals of the tournament will be contested on Thursday among Gemcon, Bando, Comfit, ITHS, IDLC, Neo Zipper, MTB and Accenture.
