The new executive committee of Bangladesh Football Federation has decided to provide cash reward of Tk1.5 crore to the national women's football team for unbeaten title winning campaign at SAFF Championship 2024 held in Kathmandu, Nepal last month.
The first meeting of the newly-elected BFF executive committee led by new president Tabith Awal was held at BFF House Saturday.
BFF executive member Amirul Islam Babu confirmed the reporters about the decision of cash rewards for the SAFF champions.
Each and every member of Bangladesh team apart from the players are also covered by this reward, he added.
Earlier, Advisor for Youth and Sports Ministry, Asif Mahmud announced a reward of Tk1 crore for the SAFF winners, followed by Bangladesh Cricket Board’s Tk20 lakh reward.
