Nepal women’s team arrive in Dhaka for FIFA friendlies

With the friendlies, Bangladesh women’s football team will get to experience competitive action after almost a year ever since winning the 2022 SAFF Championship in September

Nepal women's football team set foot in Dhaka Tuesday afternoon for the two FIFA Tier 1 International Friendlies against Bangladesh, scheduled to be held this Thursday and Sunday at Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sipahi Mohammad Mostofa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.

Both the friendlies will kick off at 5:30pm.

With the friendlies against 101st placed Nepal, Bangladesh women's football team, currently ranked 140th, will get to experience competitive action after almost a year ever since winning the 2022 SAFF Championship in September.

In the absence of previous head coach Golam Rabbani Choton, who resigned from his role, assistant coach Mahbubur Rahman Litu will prepare his charges for the Nepal friendlies alongside technical director Paul Thomas Smalley.

The pre-match press conference of the two teams will be held Wednesday at Bangladesh Football Federation House.
