Bangladesh have been placed in the same Group B with Australia during the draw of the second round of the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2024 qualifiers held at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Thursday.
The other countries in the group are Vietnam and Philippines while Group A comprises Korea Republic, Thailand, Iran and India.
The top two finishers from each group will qualify for the final round which will be held in Indonesia in 2024.
The second round will take place between September 16 and 24 this year.
Bangladesh earlier defeated Singapore and Turkmenistan in the first round in Singapore last April to emerge as group champions.
