Bashundhara girls won all their 12 matches with maximum 36 points while netting a total of 119 goals. On the other hand, Sabina Khatun extends the record of most goals scored in a single competition to 35 by smashing hat-trick of hat-tricks in last three matches.

Nasrin Sports Academy, who ensured second-place, defeated Jamalpur Kacharipara Akadas by 5-1 on the same day to earn 27 points with a game in hand. They scored a total of 44 goals the fact clearly illustrates the difference between the top two teams.

Sabina completed her hat-trick in the first half before adding only one after break. Krishna Rani Sarkar and Sheuli Azim also netted a treble each while Tohura Khatun added two more.

The third edition of women’s league that rolled back after seven years will be concluded on Sunday next week.
