Five teams will take part in the Bangabandhu Twenty20 Cup, announced the Bangladesh Cricket Board Saturday in a press release.
Fortune Barishal, Beximco Dhaka, Minister Group Rajshahi, Gemcon Khulna and Gazi Group Chattogram are the five participating teams with the tournament’s draft scheduled to be held Thursday.
The tournament fixtures are yet to be revealed by cricket’s governing body in the country.
The BCB earlier hosted the BCB President’s Cup 50-over tournament last month with an eye towards resuming international cricket in the country gradually.
Mahmudullah XI claimed the President’s Cup after beating Najmul XI in the final at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
