Jamal Bhuiyan, the Bangladesh football captain, has advised the youth to return to the childhood days with the football alone while keeping social distance to make up the Covid-19 pandemic days a little bit funny.
The Saif Sporting Club skipper and midfielder is currently spending time with family in Denmark.
He joined a live session at South Asian Football Federation’s facebook page under the title ‘Saff During Covid-19 & Beyond.’
After an introductory discussion with regards to how the south Asian football fraternity is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, it was asked how the youth should be spending time right now.
“My advice to the youth is – Just have the ball and be kid again. We play football because it is fun. I never thought about money when I was young, I loved football, playing on the street, that puts me where I’m. Just have ball and you can do lot of things with it,” said Jamal.
He added, “We are facing difficult time at the moment. We can’t play football and do our job. I’m currently living with family in Denmark. It’s different than Bangladesh. Bangladesh people are different. They don’t like or listen too much of the restrictions.
