Bashundhara Kings recorded their sixth consecutive Bangladesh Premier League win as they beat Chittagong Abahani Limited 3-0 Thursday at Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari.
Oscar Bruzon’s charges completed the first phase of the top-flight with 34 points from 12 matches, including 11 victories, while holder Abahani Limited are second with 30 points.
In contrast, following their fourth loss, the port city outfit find themselves seventh with 14 points.
The Kings dominated the game thoroughly but had to wait till the time added on in the first half to break the deadlock.

And it was Kyrgyzstan midfielder Bakhtiyar Deshobikov who gave the Kings the lead from a pass from Costa Rica’s Daniel Colindres.
Bashundhara made it 2-0 in the 78th minute as Colindres registered his name on the scoresheet.
The new powerhouse extended their lead six minutes from the final whistle when Brazilian forward Marcos Vinicius found the back of the net.
