Suarez seals Arsenal loan switch after extending Barcelona deal

Denis Suarez has completed his loan move to Arsenal after extending his contract at Barcelona through to 2021. Despite penning fresh terms at Camp Nou, the deal which has taken the 25-year-old to Emirates Stadium includes the option for Gunners to push through a permanent transfer in the summer. The Arsenal boss has previously worked with the Spain international at Sevilla. 

Martial signs new Man Utd deal ?

The forward has pledged his long-term future to the clubAnthony Martial has signed a new contract with Manchester United, which runs until 2024, with the option to extend by a year.

Gueye & McCarthy to remain at Everton

Idrissa Gueye and James McCarthy will both be staying at Everton, despite rumours linking them away from the club, reports Sky Sports. Gueye had emerged as a target for Paris Saint-Germain, while McCarthy was poised for a move to Crystal Palace, but both moves may not transpire now.

Newcastle sign Barreca

Newcastle United have announced the signing of Antonio Barreca on loan from Monaco. The defender has joined the Magpies on loan until the end of the season and there is an option to make the deal permanent.

Bad news for Chelsea: Hudson-Odoi still wants out

Bayern Munich are unlikely to give up in their efforts to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi, who remains hopeful that Chelsea will allow him to leave in the summer, Goal understands. Chelsea rejected the 18-year-old's transfer request on Monday and told him that they are not willing to sell him in January or in the summer, but the winger is still keen to join Bayern.

Dortmund confirm imminent Kagawa exit

Borussia Dortmund Sporting Director Michael Zorc has confirmed that Shinji Kagawa has been excused from team duties in order to complete talks regarding a move away from the club. While Zorc did not confirm the identity of the club in question, it is believed that the former Manchester United midfielder is set to join Besiktas.

PSG close to landing Luciano Acosta

Paris Saint Germain are poised to complete the signing of DC United midfielder Luciano Acosta on deadline day, according to RMC Sport. Club boss Thomas Tuchel requested attacking reinforcements after Neymar was ruled out of action for ten weeks, with the Argentine now set for talks in Paris.

Chelsea demand £35m for Batshuayi

Chelsea are demanding a fee of £35 million before they will consider letting Michy Batshuayi leave the club, reports the Evening Standard. Everton are reportedly keen on the Belgium international striker, who is currently on loan at Valencia, but will have to come up with the cash in order to secure his services.

Carrasco to Arsenal move is off

Arsenal are set to miss out on the signing of Yannick Carrasco, according to the BBC. The 25-year-old was reported to be close to sealing a loan move to the Gunners from Dalian Yifang, but the clubs could not agree on a fee. Carrasco had also been on the radar of AC Milan, but it has been suggested that he will now remain in China.

Crouch set for Premier League return

Peter Crouch is expected to make a return to the Premier League, with reports indicating that a move from Stoke City to Burnley is imminent. The former England international, who turned 38 yesterday, is believed to be moving to Turf Moor as part of a deal which sees Sam Vokes go the opposite direction.

RB Leipzig swoop for Arsenal youngster

Arsenal forward Emile Smith Rowe could be set to follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson, with Bild reporting that RB Leipzig are keen. The 18-year-old has yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, but has featured in the Carabao Cup, scoring in the 2-1 fourth-round win over Blackpool.

Galatasaray confirm talks for Mitroglu

Galatasaray have confirmed that they are in talks with Marseille over the signing of Kostas Mitroglu. The 30-year-old Greece international, who lists Benfica, Olympiakos and Fulham among his former clubs, is being lined up for a loan move.

Leicester will have no option to buy Tielemans

Leicester City are closing in on a loan deal for Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans, but the club will not have the option to buy, reports the Leicester Mercury. Belgium international Tielemans is expected to arrive today before the deadline, with Adrien Silva moving in the opposite direction.

Chelsea keen on Doucoure

Chelsea are lining up a surprise move for Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, according to the Daily Mirror. Maurizio Sarri is keen to bring in a replacement for Cesc Fabregas, who left for Monaco earlier this month, and Doucoure is said to fit the bill. The 26-year-old had previously been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Chiellini injury could force Juve signing

Juventus have been forced to contend with a mounting injury crisis, with Giorgio Chiellini the latest player to be laid low. Chiellini joins Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli on the sidelines meaning Daniele Rugani and new signing Martin Caceres are the only fit centre-backs. As such, Massimiliano Allegri may have to look to the market for reinforcements, particularly with Champions League games on the horizon. Portugal veteran Bruno Alves, who is now plying his trade with Parma following a stint in Scotland with Rangers, has been touted as a potential addition.

Ozil turns down PSG approach

SZ claim the French heavyweights were interested in a possible loan deal with Neymar now out injured for up to 10 weeks, but Ozil was quick to turn down the chance. Ozil has struggled to establish himself in Unai Emery's side but did start against Cardiff on Tuesday. Inter Milan were also reportedly interested in landing Ozil on loan this month, though any deadline-day move for the midfielder now appears very unlikely.

West Ham keen to rekindle Giroud interest

The arrival of Gonzalo Higuain at Stamford Bridge has seen fresh interest in Chelsea's second striker Olivier Giroud. With an injury cloud over Marko Arnautovic, West Ham are keen to make another attempt to land the Frenchman, according to The Mirror. The Hammers also tried to sign Giroud as he was preparing to leave Arsenal early last year, but lost out to Chelsea on that occasion.

PSG linked to Willian swoop

With Neymar set to spend 10 weeks on the sidelines through injury, PSG have identified another Brazilian to replace him. According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea's Willian has emerged as a surprise deadline day target. PSG face a battle to get any deal done, however, with the Blues putting a £40million price tag on their attacker and previously turning down an offer from Barcelona. Willian also still has 18 months to run on his current Chelsea contract.

Real Madrid to make £100m Rashford bid

Real Madrid are planning a £100 million bid for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford before the summer, The Sun claims. United are hoping to tie Rashford down to a new contract in the summer in hopes of preventing the 21-year-old from leaving. But Madrid have promised Rashford they will make him their No.1 striker, and that they will top United's contract offer.
