It’s no secret that we have some of the most passionate football fans in the world. And Monday morning, Fifa’s official facebook page too acknowledged it, uploading a post containing images of the World Cup fever that has gripped the country.

The images were mostly of Old Dhaka, showcasing how colorfully some of the streets and buildings were painted. There was also an image of fans gathering at TSC to watch a match.

The caption for the post aptly read, “Despite the fact that its team has never qualified for the Fifa World Cup, World Cup fever has taken over Bangladesh - a country with some of football's most passionate fans."

Even though the top favourite teams Brazil and Argentina have both been eliminated, there is still a lot of interest remaining among everyone as to who will lift the coveted trophy in Russia this time!
