Arambagh into U-18 Football quarters

Arambagh Krira Sangha reached the quarter-final of the Walton U-18 Football Tournament 2018 in style after handing Chittagong Abahani Limited a crushing 5-0 defeat in their last Group C encounter at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Thursday. Sakil scored a brace for the Motijheel outfit in the 14th and 22nd minute respectively while Fahim, Afzal and Shakil added one apiece in the 45th, 75th and 90th minute accordingly.Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, in the last match of the group stage defeated Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society 2-0 to confirm their berth in the knockout stage as Group B champion. Tawhid and Mehedi netted one each in the 15th and 85th minute respectively. Both Arambagh and Sheikh Jamal will face tough challenges in the last eight where they have to play Saif Sporting Club and Abahani Limited respectively.
