With the participation of 53 district school football teams, the National School Football Championship is likely to kick off in the third week of February, 2018, announced the BFF Saturday.
A meeting of the BFF school football committee, presided by its chairman Bijan Barua, was held at BFF House where the decision was taken. The tournament will be held with the participating teams split into eight zones.
The primary stage of the tournament will be held in accordance with the round-robin league format from where eight zonal champions will play in the final round with the same league system.
The committee also informed that long-term training facilities would be given to chosen performers of the tournament.
