Though the board has uttered different names at times, it seems the BCB has finally been able to be on the same page with Joshi. The first time Joshi was revealed as an option for the job was when Bangladesh toured India for the lone Test in February this year. BCB looked into other options for the post, like Australia’s Stuart MacGill and South Africa’s Paul Adams but opted to work with Joshi, who played 69 ODIs and 15 Tests for India.
