If a common ground is reached, Joshi, who played 69 ODIs and 15 Tests for India, will start his full-time job with Bangladesh in their tour of South Africa. The BCB has been looking into options for the national spin coach’s post for quite some time now. Though the board has uttered different names at times, it seems the BCB has finally been able to be on the same page with Joshi. The first time Joshi was revealed as an option for the job was when Bangladesh toured India for the lone Test in February this year. The Bangladesh spin bowling coach’s post went vacant after former Sri Lankan cricketer Ruwan Kalpage got sacked in August last year. The former Sri Lanka spinner had failed to report for duty.
