Bangladesh unveil squad for 2025 Women’s ODI WC Qualifier

6 teams will compete for the final 2 spots in the marquee event set to take place in India later this year

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the squad for the upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025.

The tournament will see six teams compete for the final two available spots in the eight-team World Cup, which will be held in India later this year.

Bangladesh will compete against the West Indies, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand and Pakistan.

The top two teams at the end of the tournament will their spots in the highly-anticipated International Cricket Council competition.

Defending champions Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka and New Zealand have all punched their tickets for the Women's 50-over World Cup alongside hosts India, after finishing among the top five sides in the Women's Championship 2022-25 points table.
