Prime Bank has become the title sponsor of Bangladesh Under-17 cricket team’s upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, comprising two three-day matches and three one-dayers.
The young Tigers will leave here for the island nation Thursday, ahead of the three one-dayers on November 24, 26 and 28 respectively.
Galle will also the two three-day games, slated for December 2-4 and 7-9.
Head coach Abdul Karim Jewel will guide the Bangladesh U-17 side with Tushar Imran alongside as batting coach and Hasibul Hossain Shanto as pace bowling coach.
The jerseys of the series, arranged by the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s game development committee, were unveiled at the conference room of BCB Academy building Wednesday.
BCB director and cricket coach Nazmul Abedeen Fahim and board director and game development committee chairman Fahim Sinha were present at the program along with Prime Bank PLC. deputy managing director Nazim A Chowdhury and the bank’s senior assistant vice president and head of brand and communications Syed Raihan Tariq.
