India women's cricket team reached Bangladesh Tuesday for the five-match Twenty20 International series, scheduled to start this Sunday in Sylhet.
The visitors led by Harmanpreet Kaur received a warm welcome at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet.
All the matches will be played in Sylhet, with the remaining games slated for April 30, May 2, 6 and 9.
India women’s team are touring Bangladesh for the second time in two years, and third overall.
Bangladesh hosted India for a T20I and One Day International series last year where they lost the T20I series 2-1 but tied the ODI series 1-1.
Bangladesh in their previous home series, against Australia last month, lost both the ODI and T20I series 3-0.
