Sobhana Mostary has been shortlisted for the ICC Player of the Month award for the second time this year, alongside two of the world's leading all-rounders for October 2026.
The consistent Bangladesh batter is up against India's Deepti Sharma and Australia's Annabel Sutherland for the monthly honour.
The 24-year-old was previously nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award in January.
Mostary made history in October by registering the highest individual score by a Bangladesh women's player in ODI cricket, smashing a brilliant 118 off 134 deliveries against Australia in Brisbane.
It was an innings of immense quality, with Mostary striking 18 boundaries to help Bangladesh post a competitive 220-6 in their 50 overs against the formidable Australian side.
Although her effort was not enough to guide Bangladesh to victory in the match or the series, Mostary showcased her class by scoring 129 runs at an average of 43 across the three-match series, ensuring the visitors left Australian shores with their heads held high.
The other two nominees also enjoyed impressive months.
India's experienced all-rounder Deepti was in fine form in October, making significant contributions with both bat and ball across two formats against Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Australia's Sutherland delivered consistent performances with both bat and ball throughout the month, accumulating runs and wickets in the ODI series against Bangladesh and the T20I series against New Zealand.
