Rangpur Riders bagged their second victory in the Bangladesh Premier League when they beat Durdanto Dhaka by 79 runs in Sylhet Saturday.
Having played four matches, the Riders are now fourth with four points while the capital city outfit find themselves second from bottom with two points from three games.
Riding on player of the match Babar Azam’s 46-ball 62, Rangpur posted 183 losing eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.
Arafat Sunny took three wickets for Dhaka.
In reply, Dhaka were all out for 104 in 16.3 overs, Alex Ross scoring the highest 51 off 35 deliveries.
Rangpur’s Mahedi Hasan caused the most damage with his 3/11 while Azmatullah Omarzai and Hasan Mahmud picked up two wickets each.
